A very simple render just to show Dante's awesome mark. I really love it.
It's not a secret that I've got an obsession for DmC... together with Mass Effect is currently my favourite game, but I still like the original series of Devil May Cry anyway.

For this picture I used a photo for reference, since I liked the pose and the idea instantly hit my mind. The coat was pretty difficult to pose, but the result is nice I think. I also wanted to give him that white hairpatch he gets with Devil Trigger, since there is any texture like that into the files.

Rendered in 3D Studio Max 2011 (long process as always) and edited in Photoshop.

Please spare me your negative comments. If you don't like this new Dante and the reboot just ignore what I do and keep smiling over the things you actually appreciate. I'm tired about haters, don't like, don't watch. Simple. Don't even comment, 'cause it makes no sense. Thanks.

Dante and DmC belong to Ninja Theory and Capcom.

Wait, this was done in Max? Whaaaaaat? I use max in school sometimes, but I had no idea Max could do something so detailed...

The render is made in Max, yes :) Photoshop helped me a lot though.

Did you make the model yourself, or did you get it from an alternate source? Friend, free ware site etc...?

I extracted it directly from the game. I wish I could learn and create 3D models myself though.

How did you extract it? I love 3D work, but I'm pretty helpless at creating models.

I used Gildor's umodel, facial bones have been added separately though, since original DmC models don't have them (except for eyes).

Is Gildor's unmodel free software?
