Okay, very random (stupid/sexy) thing just because I wanted to see how many of you are interested in this James mod. I had to modify the lower body pretty much, since James is a very big man with sooo many muscles <3
OMG, how I wish that option would have been part of the game! Why, James, why were you not romanceable?!?!?! Bioware can be so unfair. I wanna jump that hulk soooo much! *wiping away drool* Thanks for this awesome pic.
Because Bioware loves to tease us. So mean. Showing the Mass Effect-Fangirls what they will never have. Shepard can even flirt with him! I was so excited for the new romance. Especially after they took Thane from me! But all my hopes where crushed in just one scene, as if the delevoper first wanted him to be a romance-option, but changed their minds at the last minute. Yeah, I guess, but after the DLC I wanted to romance James even more than before! What a sexy guy. I'm such a fangirl...
Lol, good job! I am surprised that many gamers don't like James VEGA character. Most of them don't understand his arrival in trilogy. I don't agree with them. Personnaly, I found his presence and mind interesting!
James Vega is an awesome character. His personality is just amazing, he is caring, nice, cute and strong in battles. Not to mention his past was pretty tragic. I love his funny lines during the whole game and the close friendship he has with Steve! Every ME chapter usually has new arrivals, so I don't see why some people complain about James. The only negative thing is that BioWare didn't make him a love interest for Shepard XD (although you can actually romance him a bit in Citadel DLC).
Indeed, that's what I always say. I was happy to continue my romance with Kaidan, since with my first Shep I didn't romance anyone just to stay faithful to him. But really, I wanted to romance him with my other Shep so much... and in ME3, if you play as a woman you are not lucky at all speaking of romances >_>
I was pretty much in the same situation since my first Femshep romanced Kaidan in the first game and Thane in the second (Horizon left a rather bad taste in my mouth) but I decided to get her back with Kaidan for ME3 after watching the last romance scene. So one way or another, I wouldn't have paired her with James but I would have been more than happy to create a new Femshep just for him.
And yeah, what's up with the lack of male LIs for Femshep in ME3? Has Bioware ever given any kind of explanation for that? At least I hope it's not as lame as the one they gave for Femshep's reaction to Thane's death which was the same whether you romanced him or not. No real grief, no mourning. Just horrible... Bioware said they "forgot" to do something special and different if Thane was an LI. Seriously?! They forgot?! Urgh...
IKR? I was quite surprised! I also watched a video with Jacob, if he was a LI in ME2. In ME3 he simply says that he was hurt because Shepard was gone and he had to continue with his own life. Shepard was angry at first, because he now was with Brynn Cole... then, on the Citadel, he said "we're gonna have a child" and Shepard was all like: "Oh! That's awesome! Congratulations!" Like, seriourly??? O_o mah.
Btw James is such an awesome character, he is definitely one of my favourites. Plus, I also watched Paragon Lost a week ago and I just wished to be able to romance him and give him a hug >_< damn it!
I absolutely loved Paragon Lost, even though the very obvious and constant switch between cartoon and CGI was annoying and made it look very unpolished. Every time I see an ad for it on TV and James says: "Do you think I made the right choice?", I'm like: "Yes, baby, you did... Stop beating yourself over it and let me give you a hug." He is totally awesome.
He is awesome and adorable. Not to mention a really funny character, I so like his dialogues XD and I really enjoy taking him with me in missions. Kaidan is still my favourite LI ofc, but damn it... a Vega romance would be amazing
How could they create such an amazing character and then NOT make him romanceable. O.o? Seriously though, if memory serves me correctly, there are only 3 new romance options and two of them aren't true romances (sorry, but a kiss with Allers and a shower scene with Traynor is NOT a romance). Steve is a great romance option for M!Shep but all the rest are old ME or ME2 romances. I was bitterly disappointed that James wasnt an option. He has such an awesome personality.
Great pic/idea. And you are right about the feet. Half the time it looks like the characters need a damn good shower! XD
Yup, all the romances are old except Steve (available only if you are a male), Diana and Samantha. But yeah, except Steve, the other ones are useless and a female Shepard has less romance options than John Shepard XD unfair.
Well with Fem!Shep, you are either a lesbian or you date Garrus or Kaidan. There is no other viable option. There is no point to dating Thane and we won't even speak about Jacob. So really, those are your only choices. Of course, if your Shep actually is/ a lesbian, there are something like 4 different alternatives. I'm kind of seeing the signs that these options were developed by a man. Lol.
There should be a patch, or a DLC extra content or something where you can date James. Or hell, pull a one-night stand with Joker or something (that conversation in the bar is still one of my favourites in the whole game). Just... give us more choices!! But then, it has always been slightly biased in the males favour, right since game 1. Here's hoping ME4 changes things... Not that I am holding my breath over it.
Yeah, in ME2 you had more choices, like Garrus, Thane and Jacob. But yeah, Thane and Jacob are sadly no more available in ME3 for what we know and Garrus is a LI only if you previously romanced him in ME2. In ME1 I was only interested in Kaidan, so I was happy to romance him and quite disappointed to discover I would have met him only once on Horizon. I gladly continued the romance with him in ME3, but with my other Sheps it's not like I have many options. And I was so sure James was a LI as well... I was so surprised when I found out you can only flirt with him and not actually make him your boyfriend. *sigh* yeah, if only they made a romance DLC like that... I loved that conversation with Joker as well, although I actually like him with EDI.
